The first drawing before my final words were defined.
In this sketch the words were focus, strong and clean:

The words have changed over the two first weeks, and are
now these that will create my three defining rules:

After this, I have found inspiration in Norwegian pre- and
postwar litterature. These are three poems translated quite freely
into english, but i think this gives the expression i want to base my
project on.

For my project, I would like to work with abstraction and silhouettes of selected animals.


As a catalyst, I've choosen this image:

First tryout was this, but as I've understood this is a bit too analized:

Arrigning each dot a one of three different colors, each color meaning something else:
The red means text, the beige means photograph, and the blue means fill color.

In this I tried to transform the reindeer as the catalyst, into abstract. I like to work with lines, and for the serene part, I think straight lines show of this in a good way. The lines are more and more draged into the perferia of the image, creating lines that makes no sense, if you do not know the catalyst.

I still kept my old paradigm, but i did try to ease abit up on the strict, rigidness of my previous attempt to make a paradigm.

It might be a little difficult to read, so I'll put an explanation here:

1.)
This can be applied to any image, if you would like to change catalyst. Outline the animal to get the points needed for the paradigm.

2.)
Once outlined and defined, you'll end up with points like this. The format can be anything, but I have, for the sake of simplicity, decided to go for the original square format.

3.)
Draw lines in 90 angle from one another to the outline of the poster. The square shapes that now appear are the designated area for the objects or text to be inserted later. Shown here as a red field.

So, after having made this clear for my self, i can try to take on new challenges, and try to implement more rules from all my attributes.

This is a preview of my poster that will be exhibited at the Generative Art Confrence - At the Trienale in Milano, 10th - 13th December 2013.

The norwegian motto I've choosen for myself is

"Mellom bakkar og berg utmed havet"

("Wich translates into "Between hills and mountains, towards the sea" And reflects the spirit of the norwegian people.)

Project II : Theme : Bookcover targeted towards children. "The story of the goth girl, and the tiny dog"


This is my new catalyst. Based on the previous way of making the catalyst for the first project, I've made this for the second. This time focusing on the joints of the dancer, the ankles, knees, hip, sholder and elbow. Then i drew lines from those and created the startoutpoint of my second project.
